As the Senior Manager for Delivery Excellence & Ways Of Working in IT&DE, VELUX, you'll have an important role in standardizing and simplifying delivery management processes within our Digital Delivery organization.

About the job

The role is newly established, so your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Service Delivery Leads, but also to set the ambitions and formulate the plan for how to get there. Together the team work to ensure effective project delivery of IT projects within the entire delivery organisation.

Furthermore, you will be driving the strategy process for defining the future ambitions for the IT Digital Delivery organization.

Your responsibilities include to:

• Facilitate formulation and execution of Digital Delivery strategy aligned with IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE).

• Implement standardized Project Management and Scrum models for transparent delivery.

• Drive transformation of structures to support product and platform development and secure appropriate Project Management and Scrum competence and capacity utilising both internal resources and engaging in partnerships with external companies

• Establish and develop communities of best practices for project managers and scrum masters and promote training on ways of working and tooling across these communities.

• Lead and mentor the team to foster collaboration and guide and support in complex problem-solving.

As you will be working closely with the Vice President for Digital Delivery, the position is based at our Headquarters in Hørsholm. We offer flexible working conditions and you should also expect limited travel to our hubs in Skjern, Kolding, Budapest and Warszawa.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who has around 5 years of experience with strategy execution and business development e.g. from a consultancy. This experience has provided you with a solid problem solving toolbox with the ability to analyse and translate a diverse range of situations into possible solutions.

Moreover you can say yes to the following:

• Are experienced and proficient within project management methodology and Agile.

• Have solid competences within change management and implementation

• Have communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with business stakeholders and project teams.

• Possess leadership abilities making you capable of leading a diverse team and creating a culture of professionalism and setting high standards.

• Are fluent in written and spoken English.
